Is Kendamil halal?
Kendamil says its facility is halal inspected and that all Classic and Organic Kendamil formulas are halal certified. Its FAQ does not name the certifier.
The longer answer
Kendamil's US site has an FAQ titled "Is your product halal certified?" (checked October 2026). The answer in full is: "Yes, our facility is Halal inspected and all of our Classic and Organic Kendamil products are Halal certified." The UK site carries almost the same wording.
The answer does not name the certifying body, which is why we list this as the company's statement. It also names the Classic and Organic ranges only. Kendamil also makes a goat milk formula, and the halal answer does not mention it.
The same FAQ section says Kendamil is certified vegetarian because it uses "plant-based DHA from marine algae instead of using fish oil."
What to check before you order
Look for a halal mark on the can and check that the product is from the Classic or Organic range. Ask Kendamil about the Goat formula and about the name of the certifier if you need them.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
