Is Kraft Singles halal?
Kraft Singles makes no halal claim, and its FAQ lists enzymes without stating their source.
The longer answer
The Kraft Singles FAQ (checked October 2026) lists the ingredients of the American slices, which include "Cheddar cheese (cultured milk, salt, enzymes)" and, further down, "enzymes" again. It does not say whether those enzymes are microbial or animal-derived, and it does not mention halal. We found no current Kraft Heinz page stating the source and no US halal certifier for Kraft Singles.
What to check before you order
The enzymes line on the pack is the open question. Contact Kraft Heinz for the enzyme source, or choose a cheese with a halal mark.
