Is Oikos halal?

No halal claim

Oikos makes no halal claim. The ingredient list we read for Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla has no gelatin, but the brand's FAQ says nothing about halal or kosher status.

The longer answer

The Oikos FAQ (checked October 2026) covers gluten, nuts, lactose and sweeteners across Triple Zero, Pro, Remix, Fusion and the protein shakes. It does not mention halal, kosher or gelatin, and we found no halal certification claim from Oikos or its maker Danone.

The product page for Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla lists: cultured grade A non fat milk, water, and less than 1% of natural flavors, tapioca starch, stevia leaf extract, lemon juice concentrate, sea salt and vitamin D3, plus yogurt cultures. No gelatin or carmine is listed.

We read one product's ingredients, not the whole range. Oikos Remix cups come with mix-ins, and the shakes and drinks have different recipes.

What to check before you order

Read the ingredient list on the exact cup or bottle for gelatin and carmine, especially on Remix and other varieties with toppings. "Natural flavors" are not broken down on the label.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
