Grocery and meat

Is One Stop Halal halal?

Yes, certified

Yes. One Stop Halal says all its meat is certified by HFSAA, is hand cut zabiha, and is slaughtered without pre-slaughter stunning.

The longer answer

One Stop Halal is an online halal butcher that ships across the US. Its Halal Certification page (checked October 2026) says: "All our Meat products are certified by HFSAA (Halal Food Standards Alliance of America), one of the leading Halal certification body in the USA. We only sell Zabiha Handcut Meat." The page shows the HFSAA logo.

The same page says animals are "hand cut individually" without automated machines, and that the company "has decided not to do pre-slaughter stunning". It also says it does not import halal meat from countries like Australia or New Zealand, and that its zabiha meat is packed on a separate line.

The store also sells grocery items from other brands. Its FAQ says those are certified by agencies such as IFANCA, SANHA, JAKIM and MUI, or are plant based or kosher certified, so the HFSAA statement applies to the meat, not to every grocery product. HFSAA's own list of certified products (checked October 2026) includes One Stop Halal.

What to check before you order

For meat, the company's stated standard is HFSAA hand slaughter. For pantry and snack items sold on the site, check each product's own certifier, since those come from other brands.

How we decide

We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
