Grocery and meat
Is Sam's Club halal?
Some of it. Sam's Club lists halal-labeled lamb and Crescent Foods halal chicken and beef on its site, but most of its meat carries no halal label.
The longer answer
Searching samsclub.com for "halal" (checked October 2026) returns Crescent Foods products with halal in the name: Halal Lightly Breaded Chicken Nuggets, a Halal Premium Chicken Curated Box and a Halal Premium Beef Curated Box. The chicken box page describes "all-natural, Halal-certified chicken" and calls it "Certified Halal Hand-Cut". These are frozen, ship-to-home items and the chicken box showed as out of stock when we checked.
For lamb, Sam's Club lists "Thomas Farms Frenched Rack of Lamb Halal Certified". Its own Member's Mark Australian Frenched Lamb Rack does not have halal in the title, but the product description on the page calls it "Halal-certified, all-natural lamb". Other Member's Mark Australian lamb cuts appeared in the search without halal in their names.
None of the Sam's Club pages we read name the halal certifier. We found no general Sam's Club statement about halal meat, and the rest of the meat case (beef, chicken, pork) carries no halal claim. Stock differs by club.
What to check before you order
Look for a halal mark on the pack itself, since the website does not name a certifier. Lamb from Australia is the most likely halal-labeled item in the club. Do not assume other Member's Mark meat is halal.
How we decide
We only report what the company or its certifier has said publicly, and we link to it below. We do not test food, and we do not take a brand’s word from a single franchise. If a location tells you something different from this page, trust the location and tell us.
